Ascension offers discreet, compassionate mental health and substance abuse therapy to people from all income levels and all walks of life, all over Wyoming both in person and by telehealth. We can see clients in office or in the community, and you can always see us for etherapy straight from your device. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship troubles, marriage problems, family or child problems, divorce, being single, general life stress, or you just feel like it would help you to talk to someone, we’re here for you. You can schedule an appointment with any of our therapists in person or by telehealth today by clicking here. Initial appointments are always free, and we accept most insurance plans.
First Session Our first session is always free. We use it to get to know you, your specific needs, and to develop a personalized plan for therapy going forward.
Sessions generally last 50 minutes to 1 hour, but may be longer or shorter depending on your particular situation and the plan you create with your therapist for treatment. What to expect in therapy
How long will I be seeing my therapist? Most clients attend therapy for about three months, but there is no minimum or maximum number of sessions required for anyone seeking help on their own.
Do you take my insurance? We take most public and private insurance plans and are usually pretty good at getting your insurance to pay for treatment, but a lot depends on your particular plan. We will discuss billing specifics with you prior to services so that you know exactly what you’ll be looking at financially.
What if I can’t afford it? Occasionally, clients will have a high deductible on their insurance plans or their insurance will not cover treatment. In those cases, we offer a sliding scale based on income.
Can you actually help me? We have very a high success rate with our clients and tend to develop long-lasting relationships with most of the people we see. We will do our very best to help you reach your goals and overcome your problems.
Do I get to pick my therapist? Of course. You get to choose every aspect of your treatment plan at Ascension, and if you’re unhappy with any part of it, we will work to help you get the right therapist and treatment program in place. See our Providers page for more details.
